Recommendations

"Jake spent over 5 years as part of our design team at PMI and set a very high standard for himself, the design team, and the internal clients he worked with. In addition to his proficient design skills, Jake brings an innate desire to improve and to get things ‘right’. As his manager, I valued that Jake would constantly execute his projects concerned about the user and their experience, which resulted in product designs delivering beyond the scope of the business brief. Jake’s internal drive to evolve helped raise the performance of the design team while expanding the reach of design into the larger organization. A valued team player and an enjoyable person to work with, I would not hesitate to recommend or rehire Jake."

— Tyler Gilbert, Senior Product Development Manager at Rad Power Bikes

"Jake is a problem solver and his design projects are never done, until they are done right. He handles his work with great detail and efficiency, is a contributing team member and communicates his opinions clearly and effectively. He has all the technical and social skills to be a great asset to any team. Jake is a pleasure to work with."

— Mike Beckman, Senior Industrial Designer at Tactile

"As Jake's design manager for the past few years at KEK, he consistently demonstrated his industrial design competency and professionalism. He has also developed a strong and sophisticated sense of design and adopted / learned our design process and skills required to get the job done. He also demonstrated leadership, versatility, and maturity as a young designer when put into a lead design role. Jake is a conscientious and well balanced designer and was a terrific employee to have in the office. I recommend Jake without hesitation."

— Paul Klock, Design Director at MindFlow Design
